A Business of Integrity
I could rant and rave about deceptive, dishonest and ill-mannered companies for days, but it wouldn't change them. Just like the drive-through that doesn't care enough to get your order right, there are dozens of second-rate businesses that don't provide good customer service, and worse, they don't keep their word.
When I deal with a dishonest company, the frustrations press me all the more to be resolute in solid, honest business principles. Here is the code of business we adheare to:
CrossTimber Policy
GOALS:
To glorify God, to support the family and to use our products to support and bless others.
BUSINESS POLICIES:
CrossTimber is responsible for its actions, conduct and legal transactions.
CrossTimber will hold its customers responsible for prompt payment for services and products rendered.
CrossTimber will sincerely seek to resolve business conflicts within our standards of justice, responsibility, product quality and good business.
CrossTimber is closed for business on Sundays.
Smoking, alcoholic drinking or possession of contraband is not allowed on CrossTimber property.
CrossTimber will not print restaurant menus, products or accept advertising contracts that directly promote the sale of alcohol, liquor or tobacco products.
CrossTimber reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or business at CrossTimber’s confidential discretion and rights of proper discrimination within the freedoms of Constitutional law.
All designs, setups, layouts and printed materials produced by CrossTimber may not be copied or reproduced without written permission from CrossTimber.
Upon special request from a customer, CrossTimber will duplicate logos and graphics provided by the customer or supporting business. Complying with copyright laws applicable to such logos, graphics and clipart provided by the customer is the responsibility of the customer.
Exceptions/exemptions to this policy are considered on an individual basis and decided solely on the part of CrossTimber.
PAYMENT AND INVOICING POLICY:
CrossTimber operates on a per-transaction basis. Customer will be invoiced at time of delivery, and is obligated to pay at that time. Pre-payment is available for projects with design approval. CrossTimber may, at its discretion allow trustworthy customers to mail payment in after the delivery of the product(s).
Invoices left unpaid for more than 30 days after invoice date will incur a late payment charge of 10% of the balance each month afterward until the balance is paid in full.
CrossTimber requires a tax exemption form from any business or individual claiming tax exemption. If form is not provided, tax will be applied on all invoices.
GENERAL RULES OF OPERATION:
As a family-run business, the operation of CrossTimber is not above family emergencies. CrossTimber values each customer and their satisfaction. If personal tragedy or family priorities cause unavoidable delays or cancellation of printing work, CrossTimber will try to notify its waiting customers of the delays in orders placed and arrange a satisfactory solution to meet their needs as soon as possible.
Initial product designs and setups are usually completed within a week. CrossTimber stores each design on a secure hard drive in electronic format for future use. Designs and setups are kept for at least one year from the most recent date ordered. Beyond one year, a setup charge may be incurred for redesigning products again.
Most products can be available for delivery or pickup after 5 to 10 business days from date of design approval. Time estimates can usually be provided upon inquiry once CrossTimber knows what the project includes.
Rush design and printing service is available for most products. This will place Customer’s product on high priority, and costs, usually, $10 to $15, or 10% of order total.
If failure of electricity, material supply or equipment should prevent us from completing a job as expected, CrossTimber will either find other resources to complete the job, or reference another company who may be able to meet the customer’s needs.
To assure quality and customer satisfaction, all new designs are provided to the customer in printed proof form so they can have opportunity to make changes, and usually place the formal order for the product. For simple products or services, the approval proof may be waived.
Accreditation (e.g. “Printed by CrossTimber, 740-984-2583”) will be printed on all our products in a discreet place, (e.g. on the back of business cards, on the bottom of flyers or newsletters, etc.) unless otherwise arranged with customer, or omitted by CrossTimber.
Scripture verses, presidential quotes, historical facts and proverbs are sometimes included in our work (such as advertising programs or restaurant menus) at CrossTimber’s discretion.
We do not give, sell or rent your customer information to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to review our business policy. I value the good name of CrossTimber and our good reputation will continue to grow through excellent customer service and outstanding quality in all our work. If you have problem or concerns with our business policy, call me, toll-free, at 888-763-2646.
Sincerely,
John Dehnart
